Priority program "Mediatized Worlds" at international research workshop in Stockholm
At the research workshop "Mediatisation of Culture and Everyday Life", taking place on 23 and 24 April 2015 in Stockholm, members of the priority program "Mediatized Worlds" Friedrich Krotz, Steffen Lepa and Anne-Kathrin Hoklas present the priority program with papers and discussions.
Coordinator of the priority program Friedrich Krotz presents his paper "Upcoming Media – Establishing Media: From Technology and Social Needs and Demands to the Apparatus in Culture and Society" and is one of the discussants in the closing panel of the workshop.
Steffen Lepa and Anne-Kathrin Hoklas from the former priority program project "Music and Media Survey" present their paper "Socio-Material Practice Theories as a Third Way in Mediatization Research: Explaining the Lifecycle of Collectively Shared Long-Term Media Habits with Audio Media".
The workshop is organized by the Riksbanken Jubileumsfond Sector Comittee "Mediatisation of Culture and Everyday Life" together with the ECREA Temporary Working Group "Mediatization".
