International Meeting with Riksbankens Jubileumsfond "Mediatization"

A delegation of the Swedish research network Riksbankens Jubileumsfond "Mediatization" visits the priority program "Mediatized Worlds"

On April 10, a delegation of the Swedish research network "Mediatization" of the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond visits the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) of the University of Bremen. The communication and media scholars from four Swedish universities want to inform themselves on the research at ZeMKI, in the priority program "Mediatized Worlds" and in the Creative Unit "Communicative Figurations".

Members of the delegations are Prof. André Jansson (Karlstad University), Prof. Mats Ekström (University of Gothenburg), Prof. Johan Fornäs (Södertörn University), Prof. Pelle Snickars (Umea University) as well as Dr. Göran Blomqvist (Managing Director Riksbankens Jubileumsfond) and Maria Wikse (Research Secretary).

The one day program consists of presentations and discussions on current issues and perspectives of international mediatization research. Prof. Friedrich Krotz, coordinator of the priority program "Mediatized Worlds", will give an overview of the research activities within the program.
