Spring Conference of the "sociology of media and communication" division within the German Sociological Association (DGS) takes place at the University of Bielefeld in February 2014 with the participation of former and current members of the priority program

On February 7th and 8th, 2014 the spring conference of the "sociology of media and communication" division within the German Sociological Association (DGS) on "Making data count - Quantifizierung & Kollektivierung im Internet" will take place at the University of Bielefeld. It is organized and hoted by former members of the priority program "Mediatized Worlds" Thorben Mämecke, Jan-Hendrik Passoth und Josef Wehner. Gerd Möll, currently working in the priority program project The Mediatization of Gambling II will give a talk on "Die Verdatung des Glücksspiels - Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Handlungsprobleme am Beispiel von Pokerspielern".
