Handbook "Mediatization of Communication" published

The handbook, edited by Knut Lundby, includes three chapters by members of the priority program "Mediatized Worlds".
The handbook "Mediatization of Communication" comprises 31 chapters on various aspects of the mediatization of communication. Among the multiple authors are Sonia Livingstone, Nick Couldry, Stig Hjarvard, Göran Bolin, Jürgen Wilke, Mirca Madianou and many more renowned mediatization researchers.
The following members of the priority program "Mediatized Worlds" have contributed a chapter:
- Andreas Hepp (with Uwe Hasebrink): Human interaction and communicative figurations. The transformation of mediatized cultures and societies
- Karin Knorr Cetina: Scopic Coordination
- Friedrich Krotz: Mediatization as a mover in modernity: social and cultural change in the context of media change
